Rosemary was ordained Deacon at Chelmsford Cathedral on 30th June 2013 and Ordained as Priest at All Saint’s Woodford Wells on 22nd June 2014 having been a Reader at Holy Trinity for nearly six years. She is a Locally Deployed Self-Supporting Minister and works here part-time.
Rosemary has been married to Chris for 39 years and has two grown-up children, Stephen and Gemma, and a grandson, Luke. She was baptised at Holy Trinity as a child and, apart from a gap of about 10 years, has always worshipped here. She has been a member of the PCC, deputy Churchwarden for 2 years and Churchwarden for 6 years. She is also a Justice of the Peace based at Barkingside Magistrate’s Court where she is now on their Supplemental List.
Her husband is Assistant Group Scout Leader for the Scout Group (where she supported him on the Group Executive for 20 years, as a member and Chairman, and is still their President) for which Holy Trinity are the Sponsoring Authority and her daughter has been the vocalist for the Music Group at the 11.15 am Sunday Service for the last 9 years.
In her spare time (whenever that is!) she enjoys reading, listening to music, going to the theatre, eating out and cruising on the worlds seas seeing and experiencing different countries and peoples.
Rosemary feels very blessed to be at a church that has grown so much over the last few years, not just in numbers but in spirituality, mission and fellowship.
